I’m sitting here twiddling my thumbs and tapping my toes waiting for the TV show (with me in it) to be uploaded to the web so I can view it. And make a permanent link to it!
The waiting is eased somewhat by this lovely chair to sit in. A Director’s chair. A gift from the people over at SLCN.TV.
I’ve made a little image for an advertisment for this blog from it. A little 125 X 125 to be used in link exchanges. Nice, isn’t it.
It’s all happening! I’m on “Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe’ this Sunday!
That’s Sunday 17, August at 6.00 pm SL.
Gosh I’m all flustered and flipped out now. I’ve been contacted by producers and audio techs and production assistants and all sorts of behind-the-scenes staff. The whole shebang! You should have been here with me when I had the audio technician testing out my voice connection and levels on Skype.
Not that I’m nervous or anything, but I had some slight trouble remembering little things like where I live, where my church is and, at one spot, my own name.
I mentioned this in an earlier post Coming to You on SLCN TV in which I show my nervousness by managing to misspell ‘Coming’ and fail to notice until some kindly readers pointed out my mistake. (Too late now)
Once again here’s the Studio SLURL = Tonight Live studio at SLCN If you would like to pop along and be in the audience, get there about 10 minutes to 6 so you can settle yourself down in a chair and enjoy the show. Please don’t jeer when I come on. I’m jumpy enough.
It’s all so incredibly clever isn’t it. A TV show in SL. You can watch the telecast from the big screens around the place too.
Not your time zone? It’s Monday morning for me, but you can always watch the reruns. Here’s the web address for Tonight Live show replays
I need to have a strong cup of tea and a little lie-down before my debut.
I’m so excited! I’m going on TV! Not just any old TV of course, but the incredible SLCN.TV itself!
Well, I must be really truthful and admit I have been approached about appearing on SLCN.TV. (Fingers crossed)
If you don’t know SLCN.TV, you’ve been missing out. It’s the premium television of SL. You can see the screens at various places, the big screens in nightclubs and in shopping malls. I will whip up a list of the locations a little later.
But SLCN.TV has an even better feature, a little beauty. You don’t even have to be logged in to view a show. You don’t even have to be a resident of Second Life to view it!. Anyone can enjoy the world’s first virtual TV network. (more…)
