But I’ve been so flat out with weddings, especially since my guest appearance on Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe, that there’s been scarcely anytime at all to look after the place. The tiers are $32 a month as well.

When you don’t spend your time setting up dance events, ensuring tenants are happy, hosting games & hunts, and consistently advertising through every medium possible, any mall will run down, Even beautiful Bibi’s needs constant care.

So, Bibi’s Bazaar is now under the ownership of Xochitl Ninetails. May she have all the wind at her back for this.

Terry Pratchett is planning a visit to SL. Odd, I imagined him to be already a resident, with his own sim where he spends hours each day constructing a world to flesh out his literary ones. I would be.

A sim is prepared for him, a South Pacific tropical island, modeled on the island Nation featured in Terry’s new novel, simply titled ‘NATION’, complete with scenes and locations from the book. A treasure hunt will lead users through a series of clues to find virtual books and treasure as well as physical-world prizes. There will also be themed quiz nights, special events and fancy dress competitions.

A lot of residents are into Discworld - there’s a Ning for Discworld followers in SL

In a fun opportunity for Discworld fans across the globe, Terry will appear on The Nation and take part in a live question and answer session with fans, on 9th October. When I get that time in SL, I will post it for you.

SLURL : Nation

I regularly read <a href="http://silkcharm.blogspot.com"target="_blank"/>Laurel Papworth Social Networks, a blog I find incredibly useful in RL.

Laurel is a clever lady who, apart from being an executive level consultant on social networks and runs workshops on behalf of the Australian Government, also happens to be a WoW high level mage (Level 70) and a resident of SL. She’s played and worked in multiplayer virtual world games for about 10 years now, with the name of SilkCharm.

Her partner Gary Hayes put together this excellent video, crossing between worlds. I’ve never seen anything as good.
