Another Long Day

That tiny black dot sitting on the rug is me. (You can always pick out the black spot as me). I’m inside a little grotto I made on the land where my church once stood.

The church is now up at 700m, leaving space below for a garden and allowing me to sell off the plot which I have been using as a garden.

Sigh. I feel a deep wrench inside for letting go of land that I’ve worked so hard to terraform. But my accountant tells me that I must. And, to be honest, if we are going to experience days where it’s impossible to login because Linden labs need more servers to handle the people that they endlessly encourage to join for free, then the land is only costing me money.

I need to be able to get inworld and go about my business, perform my weddings and get paid for my time online. With my fees I pay the tiers on the land. No fees, no money, no tiers. (Wake up, Lindens!)

I must make an effort to feel more positive.

Anyhow, here’s another view of the gardens I have made under the church. A longer shot, pulling away from the grotto to show more of the landscaping.

It’s a pleasant little spot now and I’ve judiciously placed some couple – poseballs around and about. Maybe some lovers will wander past, paddle in the pond, pop into the grotto, have a kiss or two on the sly and then feel impelled to TP up to the church.

From there (if all goes well) they will be smitten, not just with each other, but with the Wedding Bug.

In the meantime I’m resting in the grotto myself with my shoes off, tired and a little cranky still, from a most frustrating day in second life.
