The Holiday Freeze Out

Well, I hope everyone who could get in to SL enjoyed themselves throwing snowballs, harassing reindeer and bopping to chintzy musak. Some of us had to work but found the whole damned grid was locked down because of the numbers online.
Sigh. Sometimes I feel that only financial members should be given access in times of great crowds and crushes. Not just me, but plenty of other people cough up a fair bit of money every month and it’s pretty frustrating when you cannot login because the grid is full of “no payment info” people and even those who have no age verification. Not a very charitable thought, I should put it aside.
Here’s a pleasant paragraph. Those who managed to attend said the snowball throwing was fantastic fun- never having seen, much less thrown, a snowball in RL, I must say the concept sounds wonderful. I can think of a few Lindens who could do with a good mushy snowball right in the chops. Like Torley, for instance. It just might shut him up for a minute.
