Once upon a time a Lucky Chair was a delight to find.

In my first year in SL, I found some gorgeous outfits in lucky chairs but that was before the morons (I can only describe them as morons who thought SL was an easy place to make money) arrived.

Sadly, these creeps ruin the idea for the rest of us.

They join up, immediately buy a big space, fill it up with junk for sale at cheap prices, install upwards of 50 Lucky Chairs full of the same cheap junk, install a dozen or more Camping Chairs and advertise (spam) every group that they are allowed to join. They attract traffic from newbies .. and then sell their land at an inflated price based on the numbers of newbies who have been sucked into visiting.

If you really want to zap around looking for your letter on a lucky chair there are numerous Lucky Chair groups just full of like-minded free-loot-loving individuals.

Go to Search, look up Groups, and use Lucky Chair as your search term.

Curiously, chairs like the ones in this photo usually have second rate stuff inside. (I’ve even found banana phones in some) Many of the prizes are in reality freebies and I would personally like to ban everyone who hands out freebies disguised as ‘prizes’ or, worse, actually sells them.

If you ever see a freebie being sold .. hit the Report Abuse button instantly. The sooner we close these creeps down the better.

Did I mention I have been in the group ‘Hey Girlfriend’ since it started last year?

Of course it’s changed a lot since since I first joined .. but there’s always the warm estrogen-rich atmosphere when you mingle with a few girlfriends.

I thought I should take some photos of the Hey Girlfriend activities .. here’s the first one, to set the tone, paint the picture so to speak.

I thought I would pop along to a ‘mob’ or a ‘lucky chair’ but ended up in a Hunt instead.
